Collection: Pat Pruitt

Well-known jewelry designer and belt buckle designer Pat Pruitt has distinguished himself among New Mexico’s local artists by giving traditional native themes a contemporary cutting edge. A self-described half-breed native from Laguna pueblo, Pat began making jewelry at an early age, studying under local silversmith Greg Lewis and the esteemed jeweler Charlie Bird. When Pat combined his silversmith and jewelry making expertise with a degree in mechanical engineering he became known for his use of non-traditional materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and carbon fiber.

Pat’s groundbreaking designs have received numerous awards, and his buckles took first place in both the 2009 and 2010 Indian Markets. He now serves on the SWAIA board and is sought after by collectors from all over the world.
